Welcome to MyDopa. By accessing or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

MyDopa is a personal mood and dopamine-tracking app that helps you log how you feel, spot patterns, and build positive habits. It is operated by Renee Stripeaut ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyDopa. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

You may sign in with an email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your credentials secure.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

4. What You Can Do

You may use MyDopa to:

• Log daily mood entries, notes, photos, and music associations.
• View your personal history, streaks, and insights.
• Generate and share visual summary cards to social platforms, including TikTok.
• Receive optional push notifications as reminders.

5. What You Cannot Do

You agree not to:

• Use MyDopa for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that is harmful, harassing, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise tamper with our systems.
• Share your account with others or create accounts for third parties without consent.

6. Content You Submit

You own the content you create in MyDopa (entries, photos, notes). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display it solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models.

When you choose to share a summary card to a social platform such as TikTok, you are subject to that platform's terms and community guidelines in addition to ours.

7. Third-Party Services

MyDopa integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and server-side functions.
• Google Sign-In / Apple Sign In — authentication only; we receive only the information needed to identify your account.
• TikTok API — used solely when you explicitly choose to share a visual card to TikTok. We do not post on your behalf without your action.
• Push Notification services — to deliver optional daily reminders.

These providers have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern their use of your data.

8. Disclaimers

MyDopa is a personal wellness tool for self-reflection. It is not a medical device, clinical product, or substitute for professional mental health care. Do not use it to diagnose or treat any health condition.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be $0 if you use the free tier).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of MyDopa after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Panama City, Panama.

12. Termination

You may stop using MyDopa at any time and request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at the address below. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms.
